Our expectations
- At least 3+ years of experience as a System Administrator in a mixed Linux/Windows environment
- Extensive experience with Linux (RedHat, Oracle, Rocky, CentOS) and Windows Server operating systems.
- Proficiency in shell scripting (Bash, PowerShell).
- Experience with GitLab administration.
- Solid understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and troubleshooting techniques.
- Expertise in virtualization technologies such as Xen and Proxmox hypervisors.
Hands-on experience managing Windows Domain environments and Microsoft Exchange servers. - Understanding of Ansible fundamentals.
- Understanding of IT security best practices for server hardening and data protection.
What should you expect
- Install, configure, and maintain Linux and Windows servers.
- Manage and administer Windows Domain services, including Active Directory and Group Policies.
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Microsoft Exchange environments.
- Implement system security measures and ensure compliance with organizational policies.
- Perform routine system monitoring, analysis, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance.
- Develop and maintain scripts for task automation using Ansible.
- Manage user accounts, access permissions, and system communications.
- Implement backup and disaster recovery systems to ensure data integrity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system upgrades, new applications, and infrastructure projects.
